Exciting times! We are so happy to see Malin Broman begin her three-year tenure as Artistic Partner with Västerås Sinfonietta.Through this partnership, Malin will work with the orchestra in a range of artistic roles, as violinist, soloist and chamber musician, while also developing programmes and collaborations across three consecutive seasons.During the 2026/27 season, her projects with the Sinfonietta will include music by Karl-Birger Blomdahl, Britta Byström, Mozart, Rameau and Fanny Mendelssohn.We are very much looking forward to this multifaceted collaboration.#malinbroman #västeråssinfonietta #atlasartists #artisticpartner @malinbromanofficial
What a start! 🔥We’re incredibly happy to welcome conductor David Björkman to the Atlas Artists family – and he certainly isn’t wasting any time.Yesterday, David stepped in at short notice to conduct the Swedish Chamber Orchestra at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Lüneburg, following a programme change due to Martin Fröst’s illness.With the orchestra’s own Alberto Álvarez García taking over as soloist, the programme featured Elfrida Andrée’s Concert Overture in D major, Crusell’s Clarinet Concerto No. 2 and Schumann’s Symphony No. 2.Tonight, David and the orchestra do it all again, this time in Pronstorf.Next week, David will be back with the orchestra to conduct the annual “Önskekonserten” in Örebro.A flying start to our collaboration – and we couldn’t be happier to have David joining the Atlas family!
Last night’s performance of Fidelio at Läckö was such a rewarding evening beneath the open sky. I was really moved by Helena Sá Cavalcante Schuback’s vulnerable and courageous Leonore. She sang with impeccable tone, intonation and an impressive determination. A performance that really made an impression, that was met with the biggest audience response of the night. Bravo! 🤩 Helena was joined by a great cast throughout. Simon Kim Phipps led the orchestra with great energy and drama. Never too slow, while giving the calmer parts lots of air. (Also… extra shoutout to the two horn players!) Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to the team at Läckö Slott - led by Frida Engström, for your warm hospitality.
