The Swedish tenor Per-Håkan Precht has a wide repertoire as an opera- and concert singer. After his graduation he got his first engagement at Landestheater Detmold in Germany where he sang parts like Alfredo and Werther. Since then, he has performed at several opera houses in Europe, such as Landstheater Linz, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, The Royal Opera in Stockholm, Gothenburg Opera and Malmö Opera. He has also participated in several productions at the Helsinki Opera and Folkoperan in Stockholm.
His concert repertoire includes all of the greater vocal works, like Mahler’s 8th Symphony and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, works Per-Håkan Precht has performed with conductors like Vasily Petrenko and Thomas Dausgaard. He can also be heard on a CD-recording with Norrköping Symphony Orchestra conducted by Henrik Schaefer.
