Agnes has sung roles such as Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Gianetta (L’elisir d’amore), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmelites), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) och Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). She is also a sought after concert soloist in works like L-E Larsson’s God in disguise, Mozart’s Requiem, Fauré’s Requiem and the vocal works by Bach.
In november 2017 she will make her debut with Malmö Symphony Orchestra when she will sing the soprano solo in Ein deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms, with Carl Ackerfeldt singing the baritone solo and conductor Evan Rogister.
Agnes Auer graduated from the Norwegian Opera Academy in Oslo 2016. She has previously studied at the Royal Academy in Stockholm, the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and at the Ersta Sköndal School of Music. She has participated in masterclasses with, among others, Peter Mattei, Gitta-Maria Sjöberg, Olle Persson and Andreas Schmidt.
Agnes has received numerous prizes and scholarships, for example Anders Wall’s Confidencen-scholarship 2017, Anders Sandrews educational scholarship 2016, the Hugo Alfvén Society scholarship 2014 and The Royal Academy of Music’s scholarship 2013.
